 It's Sunday! I am super stoked that Saibara invited Clair to the Flea Market. Not because she needs to buy something but I found out that there's Filipino food in Sims 4!!!

Why did I not know about this? Probably because all I do in Sims (before this) was play University, become a writer and a teacher, that's it. Every.Single.Save. 😝

I tried playing Legacy and quickly got bored, thank goodness I found Harvest Moon challenges!

Mineral Town Challenge 017

 Oh, boy! Autumn!! I wonder what "Seasons" will actually bring to my game. I am not sure if anything will change colors and things. One thing's for sure -- I AM GLAD BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO MORE THUNDERSTORMS! Riiiiight?

Mineral Town Challenge 016

It's Monday (in-game) and Clair has been working non-stop because of yesterday heartache. Yes, we all know they're technically not together anyone, and she has to keep telling ignoring his "date" calls because the challenge says, dates are only allowed on "calendar date" days. 

The Moonlight Farm has finally been leveled up enough that there are new animals coming! May was super excited on a phone that I could barely make out what she was saying. Horses! miniatures, ponies, and horses!! What? We had to rush to go to the Yodel Ranch to see.

This little one was a bit worried about me coming around. He finally let me pet him a little bit. 🥺What a sweetheart. 

I cannot believe this beautiful creature warmed up to me pretty quick! 

This was a big softie as well. Awww, my heart is so full! Thank you to these sweet, gorgeous creatures.

Wait, oh no! Before the day ended I got this call:

Don't play with Clair's heart like this. I mean, Popuri... Argh. Okay, I had to click "Of course!" I wasn't really sure if the romance bar was going to suffer if I had clicked "Ghost him", I was not going to risk that. So any day now, he may ask me to go out -- but it's not challenge-allowed. 🤷What do I do?!

The next "date day" is not until 3weeks later. 🙄 ((Re-checking rules and loop-holes)... There are no rules against dates in the MTC.

So... the only rule is to make sure the Romance bar is 50 and above. I have to check that before he asks Clair on a date. 😅

Okay, this is the funniest thing. I left the game unpaused while I was typing and lost half of Tuesday. But look who just popped up at the farm!

Also, NO, I did not cheat. I was just right-clicking the relationship bar to see the numerical values. No game cheats are allowed in this Challenge, aside from moveobjects and the first relationship values set-up for all the townies (which is why Popuri was still flirting with Kai).

At Romance level 54 Clair can now accept date invites from Kai, but she cannot invite him until it's gone up to level 70 and above. So really there's 3 weeks in-game to do that. 

Since part of the Challenge is to make sure that Clair revives the farm and marries one of the marriage candidates, she also has to have a max out friendship level with the the family who Kai is closest to, that would be Zack. 💪 So for Wednesday, after all the farm work, we're going to try and sweet talk Zack for a blessing.

So far, he's not quite sure about what to think of Clair. 😅😅😅

Thursday was spent all day taking care of the farm because I made some changes... First, I installed the Farmland Mod by awesome Arnie. I do want to play his story mode save as well, but I REALLY want to have some of his items for my Mineral Town Save. I tried out several things, but for now here are the changes:

The reason why I had the gates anyway was because I thought the neighbors would just come to my farm, and steal my fruits and things. Well, I learned that if I have NAP disable, it shouldn't happen, so I took the fences down. It is for some reason also now easier on the eyes, I don't know exactly why, it just looks better.  

Mineral Town Challenge 015

 I've decided to change my Simstagram Preset. I was using "It's time to rest", and I have moved on to a softer preset called "Coffee and donuts" (Lightroom). When I post on this blog, you usually see the RAW images from Sims Screenshots folder, but in my Simstagram they're a bit more on the roleplay/storytelling mode. 

The top two pictures on the right has a neat scroll that I copied from my sister. Woots, Faye!

We spent Sunday really working on the farm itself, planting and moving certain crops. Again, I have no good eye on landscaping or farm layout talents on any game, at all. I just plant whatever I have on whatever plot of land is there. HELP!

I literally just used the tool to color the fenced areas. 😂

I am not allowed to move the building around but if you have ideas about the "farm" area, let me know! 

Mineral Town Challenge 014

So we now start our weeks on Sundays. Have I mentioned that I hate Seasons? (I told my husband this and he thought I was talking about real life, so yeah. I hate it in real life too. I only like cloudy days and Autumn.)

After the morning farming, I was invited to a flea market, so why not. I have to do the house 3rd (and final) upgrade anyway. I knew I needed a couch, and a new chair. So here's the chair I bought! Luckily, the couch (no longed pictured) was the same type!! 

Then later in the afternoon, Kai just showed up at my lot, and of course I let him in. It's not against the challenge rules. 😁 He presented himself in like this. 😆 I had to snap a photo!

Mineral Town Challenge 013

So Clair woke up at 12:48AM and started tending to the farm, I guess she just couldn't sleep anymore. She went to the Oreo and Choco and there were no "harvest dairy" options -- weird. I've updated KS's My first farm animals mod already, so I went in the re-updated, and went into CAS fulleditmode -- well, there's the problem! My farmer trait and the calves' dairy traits were missing. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Clair's going to just have cake for breakfast. Where did she get this cake?!

Also, I am trying to re-learn all my settings from last year, and was not able to use "headlineeffects off" right before this picture. 

I'm re-linking the rules of this Challenge. Whew. (Can't we just start playing? No.) I tweaked some General Rules from when I started because there were packs I didn't own. Now that I have both Seasons and Cats and Dogs, I have to play by those Seasonal Harvest Moon Rivals Challenge Rules as well as the Seasonal Mineral Town Challenge Rules. Maybe I should just restart? 😵 Nah. 

Mineral Town Challenge 012

Continuing on this "Mineral Town Challenge" pretending I never took a WHOLE YEAR's break from it. 💀💀💀 First and foremost, I have spent 3-4 days now updating my Sims 4 and Mods, and trying to find these broken CC that keeps giving me error 132, and 140. 😠 I was super close to deleting ALL of my CCs and starting over -- but hey! I could definitely have started from scratch like trashing all the other saves would be fine but I could not let go of my Mineral Town. 😭😭😭 I spent too much work on that (just tweaking, because if you remember, Briar Rosethorn in Sims Community on FB (also Snarky Witch on EA Gallery) is the one who re-created this entire Harvest Moon: Mineral Town including the townies in Sims 4. It was not me. I just happen to stumble upon it, and got obsessed. 

After the working on the updates, going through Sims Mod Conflict Detector, and the manual CC transfer in and out of the Sims 4 Mods folder -- finally, I can continue!! It looks like error 140 got fixed somehow as well. I'm not going to ask questions, I'm just going to say THANK YOU.

The last blog post was up until Monday (end of Week 4), but it so happens that while I was trying to fix my save, Choco Brown got sick. 

I had to rush and build a quick vet clinic (because some update from Aug 2020 - May 2021 put a vet career in Sims 4), so I quickly had to that instead of the "Live in Business VET" from LittleMissSam.

Anyway, I did lose a day and a half, so we're not starting on a Wednesday (in-game) at 3:30pm. But my "cows" are both healthy again!

To be completely honest with you, this one probably will have more features than the EA one, but it may crash when the EA updates come in for Cottage Living. I don't know. Arnie has done a wonderful job with this Mod Expansion! It will be out June 25 for patreon's and free after 2 weeks. 

Then Cottage Living will be out July 22nd! Try Sis 4 Farmland anyway?

Mineral Town Challenge 011

There was a mistake in my title a few days back. Oh well.

Funds are quite low, and because my animals are now "pets" and not decorations -- they cost money. I really have to keep an eye on that. After feeding both "cows" and the "chickadee" coop, we're down to §951. I wanted to check how much we make from the harvestables, milk (1 cow) and the eggs (chickadee). 

A whole carton of eggs is §120. Not bad. Oreo being the older of the two cows (not quite sure if that actually matters) gave 8 glasses of milk they give §0, yup zero simoleons. I'm going to try to set a retail table and see how much that would be. So overall, Clair make §4.6k if all the harvestables makes produce.

So that's good. 

Many things have happened throughout the weekend so I haven't really been able to play.

Gamed really fast from in-game Saturday to Monday evening and this marks the beginning of week 4. I think I will just blog for once a week because school is going to start soon. :)

Mineral Town 010

§4,847 Monday funds.

After the renovations we're down a little bit, not a lot. The harvestables are bringing stable income, so after selling those we're back at almost §6k.

I'm still having a problem with the meat plant and I'm about to just take those out all together. Anyway, after the field work today, Clair had a bit of time to go in to the village and we're up to 8 friends! (Including Kai and Cliff).

So many things happen when it's Sunday.

It was renovation day because Clair has finally unlocked Handiness level 4, and she has enough money, and village friends to get a bigger house, and land.

We're going all out.

Super excited to use the brand new addition to the Clair cooked right away this morning!

Yup! She dropped the whole thing of pepper in there.. We're working on her cooking skill.

After hump day, the week seem to have flown by! Foraging is pretty much an everyday thing now.

Clair saw a good friend while fishing, and she decided to mentor her. She may be younger but she's been fishing so much more -- Aah, youth!

We actually got our first Mail! (Bills)
It was §441, so Clair's funds dropped from §1,381 (simoleons) to §940. Planning to start upgrading the house, I think we should begin with a stove -- Clair's always getting a moodlet about getting sick of instant food ^^; While it's free, it also makes the sim unsatisfied.

Mineral Town Challenge 006

I don't really get to play everyday so most of the time the blog posts are after playing 2-3 in-game days and then posting 1 picture on Insta at a time. Yesterday though, I was not able to post a picture because too many things were going on in real life and long story short, I just was not able to play at all. ^^;; 

Posting a Screenshot as proof that Clair has now, 5 different kinds of harvestables to sell. The breakdown:

40 Strawberries -- $360 (Normal Quality)

30 Apples -- $90 (Normal Q)

30 Grapes -- $90 (NQ)

30 Plantain -- $90 (NQ)

40 Mushroom -- $40 (NQ)

Total: 670

In order to unlock level 2 for land (to plant more) we need to get another $330. The rules, in case someone is actually reading these blog posts :P 

After selling all those things (also selling the little store I created because it didn't work) we are now at 1,381 simoleons!

At 10:43am, she finished taking care of the current field (including the cow plant) and she's headed to the library because according to the rules, we're not to remove the HUGE rocks until she's level 4 in Handiness. Time to study!

She actually has not met Mary yet! She kinda looks like a know-it-all, but she's very sweet (I had to do her remake version so she looks like that ^^;;)

Since today is technically her 1st weeksary I think she should go visit an old friend (we need 5 friends [relationship over 35] to be able to meet Kai <3

Sunday 8:25am, the challenge has officially started. Clair has met quite a few people.

The next morning the plan was to go out and meet more villagers. She actually woke up to the welcome wagon! (Lucky!)
