It was a little bit of a stressful day at Luna Farm. We knew that the baby calves will be taken away, but it sure has put a bit of a strain on Choco and Oreo.
Sunday, aside from planting new seedlings the lady from the agency arrived to pick up Mateo. He was ready to head to Yodel Farm. They've decided to pick up the girls on a different day, and I guess that worked out. They came in the middle of the night.
Monday morning when Choco woke up to see Mateo was not there, a fight ensued. Yikes. Clair really had to calm her down after that. Oreo tried too, but the next day the agency will come for the girls.
Kai actually called to see if Clair would be free for a date, but Oreo got so sick, and had to be taken to the vet. 😭My poor babies.
Tuesday morning Clair was surprised to see that a new chick has hatched! What a good way to start the morning.
This time, there was no hiding, Peaches and Loki were going to be moved to the Yodel farm, and it was better for Choco. She was able to at least say "goodbye". 💔
After letting them all calm down and re-center, Clair decided to go shopping. It's been a while, it will be nice to visit Karen as well.

Yes, Clair was just at the supermarket yesterday but Karen called to tell her about a new shipment coming in! She said it was going to be a fun craft-related machine!! What?!
A mill! Clair has to have one! She put in an order for it, Karen said it will be delivered to the farm when the equipment and shipping is ready. So excited for this!!!
Later that evening, Clair decided to run to the library (it was almost closing time, but Mary, graciously, let her in).
Oh, all the books! Which one to pick??

Mary and Clair just sat together in silence, both, exploring new worlds.
Clair woke up with a surprise Thursday morning! It's ... snowing?! But it's still Autumn? She had to double-check the calendar for sure. Yes, it's still Autumn, what in the world. Gotta start the final famr prep before we get to no harvest! 🤪

Friday is time to really spend time with the animals. Clair got to play more with the chickens today, after cleaning the coop. The two new chicks seem to be settling in, and thriving, the little runt went under the gate. She'll have to contact Saibara and Gotz soon to see if a new ranch gate can be built.

Clair has been neglecting cleaning the house... yikes. After making breakfast, she's made a mess. It's time to actually use some elbow grease and get in there!

Clair received a letter of invite from a neighboring town called "Henford-on-Bagley", they're having a crop festival and they are interested in novice farmers to showcase their harvest. Oooo! Time for a little fieldtrip!
