It's late but... My First Thanksgiving Day

Yes, it is a late post. Sorry, I've been swamped by so many things! I didn't know November can be a busy month! >< I've not experienced a November such as this before. In the Philippines, Nov. 1 and 2 are called All Saints Day and All Souls Day respectively. But only 1 things happening really. October is my Christmas shopping time, so by November, I'm pretty much, relaxed. In the US though, they have Thanksgiving Day. Turkey Day as other people call it. Well, it's my first time to experience it and oh my.. it's busy busy. Many people are busy to have their after-Halloween stuff.

It's funny because some people have asked me, "How do you celebrate Thanksgiving in the Philippines?" I cannot answer, really, and just smile. Thanksgiving Day is a holiday ONLY in the US. It is a part of their History, which I only know very little about. Only that the pilgrims ate dinner with the land's natives. (I gotta learn about this)

Here, normally people have dinner with the family, but in our case, we had brunch!

Today's the DAY!

OMG. I have been waiting for so long to have a snack like this!
The only thing not ideal is me being at the park, under a tree.
(I can do that .. but I didn't know it'd be so cold for me during Autumn)

I know, it seems so childish, but I have not eaten Taiyaki until today! So I'm super excited! I love it! Every bit of it! And I also made the matcha latte by myself! :)

My heart is exploding!

I WANT TO WRITE!

I feel like my heart is really about to explode, and no, it's not because of caffeine. Maybe it's the sugar. 

No really I want to write.

I don't have a lot of time to write -- and that sucks. I make do with what I have. I really want to be able to regularly blog. I do -- so much, and I want to have time to sit down and write on my journal, and my newly unearthed notebook without having to worry about my baby. My husband is a good husband. I have told him that. He needs to work on his daddy skills though. (I've told him that too. Bluntly, I might add.) He's been a house husband for a while now, I know he's been getting itchy to work again, and well, not be a home stay dad. I know he LOVES to play games, and he wants time alone with that too. So it's really a give and take situation.

Little Tokyo 2014

I've been wanting to eat Japanese food from Little Tokyo's grocery places from when I was 5 months pregnant with my son. The thing is my friends didn't have the time, and well -- I don't want to go by myself.

So now, Llyr's out ^^;, and I have gone there last time with my cousin Jona, my husband, and my baby. I do not have pictures though because I had the baby the entire time, and he didn't want me to not hold him (he has a bag carrier thing, but he didn't wanna be there at that time). It was a lot of fun and we went to a cafe a bit far from there too -- but like I said; no photos. So I didn't blog about it. My cousin has some pictures on her facebook though.

Llyr has this tendency to know when I'm eating or planning to eat, also it's the same when he knows I will use my phone to surf the net or play games at night -- and he will, with all of his might, resist the urge to sleep and just cry until I stop whatever it is I am doing and instead hold him with both of my hands. ; 3; If he's already asleep, and I try to have one hand free and play or use the net or eat -- oh yes! He will wake up and complain that I don't have my full attention on him. I love my son ♡♡♡ he's a smart boy.

So this time, I MADE sure that I would have all the pictures I want.

Friday the 13th! Yay!

Today is an awesome day!
Friday the 13th is as awesome as you make it to be~
I've always thought that this day is awesome and today I have this to talk about. Okay, I know that yesterday I said that I will already properly stick to me exercising -- I didn't say anything about staying away from sweets did I? (^ム^)
I understand that it should go hand and hand.. but.. today is just so awesome~
Today I got free passes for the Book Fair! Its salaryday even though it's delayed so I have to get it tomorrow. It's the International Chocolate Day! Bailey met a white cat!w And I got free newspaper from my neighbor!!! I need them for Bailey's poopy tray.
So that's why Friday the 13th is completely amazing~

Family Mart ikimashou!

FamilyMart (ファミリーマート)is a Japanese convenience store franchise chain first opened in Japan on September 1, 1981. It is Japan's third largest convenience store chain, behind 7-Eleven and Lawson. (wikipedia)

FamilyMart was launched in the Philippines on April 7, 2013 under the ownership of Ayala Corporation, Rustan's Group and Itochu. Its first Philippine branch, opened on April 22, 2013, is located at the Glorietta 3 mall in Makati.

Last May 31, 2013 it opened a branch at the Ground floor or Alco Building, 391 Sen. Gil Puyat, Makati City! The best part is ---- ITS JUST BESIDE MY OFFICE!!!

I'm a happy girl~ It's so much nearer than 7-11 and you know who has a bias on anything Japanese! XP

Early stress and de-stressing

I was stressed out in the morning because of KFC. Hahaha. ^^;;
I went out to order food for me and my friends.
Yes, I was actually at the store.

So there I was, I had to wait for it because they didn't have hot choco yet,
and I was not one try coffee at random places (just because).
Then, I had to carry all of the take-outs and rush to my office which is 10 minutes away on foot.

I arrived at work and I noticed...

O~~~kay.. MY SANDWICH IS NOT THERE?! WHERE IS MY AM SANDWICH THINGY?

So I had to call them up. First I used the number I saw on the internet. No answer.
Then the main delivery service number. *click*
"Hi good morning!"
"Oh hi! I was at KFC earlier and I need the number for that shop because they didn't give me my complete order and I noticed it only when I was at work, and now I cannot leave because I have a class in 10 minutes."
"*gives number*"
I called that, it's the SAME one that was not answered.

I looked it up on the internet again, and saw a different number. I decided to call it.
"Hi!"
"Hello, is this KFC CyberZone?"
"No, this is Jupiter's."
"Can you give me the number there because *insert long explanation here*."
"*gives a different number*"

I called that. No answer. Called again. *CLICK*
OMGosh yey!
"Hi! Is this Cyberzone? I was there earlier *same same*."
"Oh, I'm so sorry we'll have it delivered."

Like I said it takes 10 minutes to walk here, the person got here in 25 minutes. It was the same guy who was the cashier when I was ordering. I apologized.. Wait -- isn't their fault? I apologized again for the trouble of delivering it.

I ate. No more stress. <3
Wow. >_<;; I just love eating I guess.

Oh later I will be at the newly opened Cold Stone Creamery, and on Monday, I will be going to a SPA with my friends so I'm soooooo excited for this weekend!!

I had a thousand bill yesterday, but 350 from that needs to be given to someone. So I went out to buy Green Tea Cream from Starbucks. It was 175 for Venti. I also bought bread for 100. Buuuuut~~~

I just have to a survey thing and I get a tall drink for free (for my next visit)~ That's not luck, that's God' blessing and love~ <3 Thank you Jesus!

Banaple~

So my friends and I ate at a cakeshop called Banaple. It does not serve only cakes though but meals included. Yes, meat and rice, that kind of stuff. Now I have forgotten whatbexactly they order hahaha.
