Sequence One Pager

Once you're done with your outline and your draft.

Please use the website www.gingersoftware.com/grammarcheck and type in 1-2 sentences at a time to make sure that your spelling and common punctuations are correct. If you need to re-write your paragraph on a lined sheet of paper, please do so before going to the next step which is the One Pager.

It is imperative that you have spell checked and grammar checked before putting anything on your One Pager.

This video will have a cut end because I didn't realize that since I was using the free version of Screen-O-Matic, I only have 15 minutes. So I will continue the rest of the instructions through pictures.

For the rest of the steps, keep reading.

If you decide to go with angled shapes, your paper may look like this. It's pretty rough around the edges (haha) but it creates a really nice design. I have placed my Step on the left side of the circle and if you wrote yours on the right side, that is fine too. What's important is that you have that sequence transition on the first step.

For those of you who like the blobs or waves like I do, here's how that may look like. I love it because I think the softness of it makes it look unintentional but cute. My second step begins with an infinitive phrase (to + present tense of the verb). You can also use an adverb (usually ending in -ly), a gerund (verb + ing), or a preposition. Always use your notes in your folder.

Mandala patterns are fun! If you have quite a bit of time and you love to color and draw anyway, try this one. You can come up with so many patterns and you can always use google images for a mandala coloring sheet as your guide. My third step used a sequence transition, but not "second" or "third". Use a non-numeral transition for your 3rd step.

Looking for an easy way to color? You may want to try doing gradients. It's easy, no patterns, just keep coloring. Although, you may tire of it a lot easier than the other design options. My fourth step is a non-traditional way to begin a sentence. Here I used a gerund (verb + ing), make sure you're spicing your sentences up like we talked about!

---------------------------------------------

The paper should be fully colored (according to the design you have picked). Make sure that you are using an ink pen for the paragraph itself. The last step should have an ending sequence transition like "Finally" or "Lastly". You may write it in the circle going around or like a caption at the bottom of the picture you have made.

CLICK THE PICTURE in order to see it in full size.

You would notice that the topic sentence is on the left side and it looks like a border, while the concluding sentence is on the right.

Titles are not required, but you may write it at the bottom of your paper.
